The MaxiChamber 600 is a heavy-duty inspection chamber, manufactured in West Bromwich from recycled polypropylene. It is supplied as a four-part system: the chamber base, sealing ring, twinwall shaft and 300mm reducing ring.
The base takes 160mm pipe directly, 150mm twinwall pipe with an adaptor, and 110mm pipe with a reducer, which we can supply. It is compatible with covers and frames rated up to D400, so you can match the chamber to the loading on site.
The 600mm diameter makes rodding, jetting and CCTV inspection straightforward. It installs to depths of up to 6m, or 3m on adoptable sewers.
The base is light enough to lower into the trench by hand, so no lifting equipment is needed. Pre-formed inlets and built-in benching also cut labour on site.
The shape of the benching prevents debris build-up, which reduces the risk of blockages. Pipes push-fit into rubber ring seals for a watertight joint.
Manufactured to BS EN 13598-2 and meets Part H of the Building Regulations. For adoptable sewers, it complies with the Design and Construction Guidance in England, Sewers for Adoption 7th Edition in Wales and Sewers for Scotland.
